About E.C.T. Pedicab

ECT Pedicab was founded in 2008 by Mikey Sorboro.  Having seen similar services of "bike taxis" thriving in cities like Austin and San Diego, and knew they'd be a hit in Columbus.  Since then, ECT has been a leader in the growing industry as other pedicab companies and owner/operators took to the Columbus streets in and around downtown.

In 2012 ECT Manager Jason Biundo and fellow driver Tawd Bell bought Mikey out of the company as he left to focus on another local venture called Late Night Slice.  Since taking over, Jason and Tawd worked closely with the City of Columbus License Section, the Department of Safety, and local pedicab owners to craft regulations that legitimized the Columbus pedicab industry in 2013.

Throughout the years, ECT has striven to set the bar for safety and courtesy in the industry, while also giving back to the community whenever they can.  As the company celebrates it's 10 year anniversary, Jason and current partner Ryan Craig continue to offer the same professional service ECT has come to be known for.

Meet the Owners
JASON BIUNDO
Administrative Partner

Jason has been with ECT since the beginning.  He's helped to guide the industry in Columbus over the years as a member of the Vehicle for Hire Board.  When you see him on a pedicab, he's likely to have a small dog with him, a slice of pizza, or both.

RYAN CRAIG
Managing Partner

Ryan has been pedicabbing for 4 years and became partner in 2017.  He's passionate about a healthy lifestyle, which of course includes riding bikes.  He's a driving force in the growing Columbus Bike Polo League, and a helluva player too!
